People are clever at making fake profiles - Pics veris promises can all be faked.

How do you prove that you're real? Do you make an effort to prove you're not a fake, or do you think that fakes are everyone else's problem?

I’d happily take a pic holding something they suggest (within reason!!).

i’d say go with your own gut feeling, if they’re verified by meeting in person then that’s a good start, but not a guarantee of course, profiles with no veris, no pics and no info on the description are obvious fakes to me.

It wouldn't surprise me if half of the fakes on here also have a genuine profile,

I've never been accused of being a fake or had to prove myself to anyone,

Going to a few socials/fab socials helps and I have also been on cam in the chat rooms

It's not something I've ever been asked to prove, I'm afraid, so I am no help to man nor beast. I don't know how I'd feel about it either. Probably a little miffed at the idea of having to prove I am real, although I could understand why they were asking in the context of here.

When we first started looking for a meet, we were contacted by lots of ‘females’ and wet behind the ears we ‘engaged’ in a bit of sexting etc, until a lady (she wasn’t from here) sent us a couple of ‘action shots’ who clearly wasn’t the same woman in each photo! Now we ask for a live face pic very early on, usually on kik if they have it.

This. I’m not hot enough to be ‘faked’. Had a guy tell me I wasn’t real and he was reporting me (this was on k ik) and I even sent him a video of me saying his name, and nope. Still fake!

I eventually went on cam and told him to fuck off. Weird how he then wanted to meet up with me! No chance

I think it’s usually pretty obvious.

A chat on the phone pretty much proves it. I would be concerned that anyone who says they can’t for whatever reason is either fake, or unlikely enough to be able to relax enough to make whatever happens next as brilliant as it could be. I simply cannot believe the accepted reluctance to chatting to people in this manner, and then the continually whining about fakes and no shows.

Above all I’m looking for consistency in the style of the profile, the content of any messages and a similar snappy phone conversation.

Inconsistency between any of these communication styles indicates a greater probablility of a dreamer or schizo.

We don't. We arrange a social meet if we're interested and turn looking similar to our photos but with clothes on.

I don't think fakes are everyone else's problem but I'm not sure us proving we're who we say we are helps anything.

I met a couple twice near to me that have blank profile and shadow picture no verifications , because they don’t want any trace of them on the internet but still want to play.

Sometimes if worth taking a chance I got cat fished by a couple with pictures and verifications. Arranged a meet twice and even rang them but turns out it was just the male of this broken couple even then it was all talk no action

I've never been asked to prove i'm real, although i suspect the chances of a male profile being fake are a lot less than that of a female profile.

Verification's are a pretty good indicator, yes they can be faked too; i'd suggest someone with one or two could possibly be a fake, but 20+, more likley to be genuine.

I dont think theres a hard and fast was. People will believe what they want to believe.

I'm not in the habit of bending over backwards to convince anyone of anything. If they dont believe im genuine not much I can do or say.

Quite simply I don't other than by people being able to see my forum presence, getting to know me by swapping messages and generally being provided with all they need to know to have a good "gut feel" that I am who I say I am. I don't need to prove anything.

I use similar instincts about those I am meeting too and so far haven't been proved wrong.

I'm not always at my best with make up on and looking decent so chances are if I'm home after 7pm I'll be in my pjs and would have taken my make up off. Point being sending live face pictures or video chat just feels like a ball ache that I just ain't prepared to do. I appreciate people have trouble with fakes but I'm always happy to meet someone socially to confirm I am the person in the pictures.

Too much nagging or being asked to prove who I am just makes me think, you know what, forget it!

Phone chat proves nothing in my experience. I've had some timewasters who just love chatting on the phone but always manage to find a last-minute pathetic excuse not to meet

It all depends on your definition of fake... I'm pretty sure such people are not the people shown in their pics, which I would call fake

I'm not one for jumping through hoops especially when the profiles themselves have not been photo verified let alone verifications from actual physical meets.

With today's technology we have plenty of apps that allow video or voice calling whilst still being discrete.

Too many fakes on this site that have ruined the fun for everyone else.

Its quite shocking the amount of porn star / fitness models pics used in profiles.

There the ones asking to send a pic with you wearing a red tie holding up 3 fingers whilst doing a headstand!

How do you prove that you're real? Do you make an effort to prove you're not a fake, or do you think that fakes are everyone else's problem?"

Short answer, I dont.

If someone approaches me I'd suggest that they must think i'm real or they wouldnt have reached out in the first place.

If I approach someone and they asked me to prove I'm real i'd point them in the direction of my veris and suggest they ask a few people ive met if im flesh and blood.

If thats not enough, fuck 'em.

Or not fuck 'em as the case may be.....

Above all I’m looking for consistency in the style of the profile, the content of any messages and a similar snappy phone conversation.

Inconsistency between any of these communication styles indicates a greater probablility of a dreamer or schizo."

We have never communicated by phone , cam , Kik or anything other than messages on here .

This is our third stint on fab in seven years , and we certainly aren’t dreamers , schizo or fake .

If people think we are fake it’s their choice . Like we are bothered ?

If I was a single male looking to play with a couple I would want to prove there is a female about to turn up too so we were happy to prove we were who we said we were, plus we didn't send or ask for pics so showing face on cam killed two birds with one stone.

I personally don't think it is too much to ask to prove yourself.

Having said that, it would only be proved to people we were thinking of meeting and not just because some random asked us to prove who we were

I eventually went on cam and told him to fuck off. Weird how he then wanted to meet up with me! No chance "

kik offers video chat. You can confirm they’re real through it and look like the pictures they sent you.

The issue of being fake has never come up with us. I think people realise from our verifications that we are serious swingers. And likewise, we don’t worry about people being fake. The people we meet, it just seems obvious to us that they are real.
