have found a chess game on this here computer.

As i have all but dropped out of the civilised world and my brain is starting to turn to mush...thought i'd give it a go.

so.....i thought it might be a good way to engage my brain in a bit of a battle against this technology

i fired up the little grey cells and decided to live dangerously

i set the game level straight to ten....and have received a humiliating thrashing at the hands of an intel processor

the shame of it all

I know what you me by not feeling so sharp s`well...

I should dig my Kasparov computer out...good shout...

Oh...I like the chess puzzles....a real blast...kinda jaw dropping, followed by a smile..

I guess it can`t be to hard to find an online chess club...might try that...

Kinda left thinking about the days when they had chess correspondence....weeks between moves..thats boggling..

love a good game of chess .... have played since about 10 still get my arse handed to me but as long as i learn something lol backgammon ...good game also but with an element of luck regarding the dice .

One day at work I learned how to play chess in a morning to play this pompous wanker at lunch who considered himself an intellectual because he played chess. I beat him on my first attempt, he still gets the piss ripped out of him to this day 10 years on lol. Tit!

It is indeed a very good game but I always remember my first ever game and have a quiet little snigger to myself whenever I play.
