There and to the left a bit

Recent purchases of over £100 include:

- Tickets for American Idiot The Musical when it tours next year

- Various bits in Ikea - usual story of only going in for a look around and "finding" things we didn't know we needed!!

- A place at Madness' House Of Fun Weekender at Butlins in November

Some may if they have been there previously.

People do it all the time on FB then wonder why they come home to a trashed house.

31mm oyster with red grape dial so nothing hugely pricey in terms of Rolex’s. she’s already got a 38mm longines master collection with the blue diamond dial. But with the oyster it’s a timeless classic design.

I’m currently waiting on a hulk submariner.....maybe get one next year, more likely to be 2020. As I refuse to pay over RRP for it.

I’ve got a couple of tags but mainly wear my Tudor red bezel black bay (original model with the rose and not shield) which in my opinion is one of the best looking watches currently on the market.

Tudor are killing it lately with some of the best looking watches on the market and impeccable build quality.

You still get the comments from the clueless about it being the poor mans rolex from back when the two were linked together. But that just highlights their lack of knowledge to me about how far Tudor how come and their Phoenix like rebirth recently

There’s only a few in the Rolex range I like, mostly the submariners which I’m on a couple of waiting lists for. The rest are a bit too safe on styling for me. Or well out of my budget (rose gold skydweller I’m looking at you)

I’ve tried a hydroconquest on....looks great and at 44mm is a great size. The pricing on it is ridiculous, I went into the longines boutique in Leeds and was also offered 20% off it! my only negative thoughts on it was, it felt a little light with not so great build quality. But for the price I think it’s a fantastic watch to start off with or a daily beater. I very nearly bought one lol

Omega don’t tickle me at all, the orange bezel planet ocean is the only one I like.

I bought used, never buy new, save a fortune.

Omega I want is 215.30.44.21.01.002. Need to wait a bit as it's a fairly new model and prices are still high."

I have; a 46mm omega planet ocean,

Tag heuer aqua racer blue/purple dial,

Tag heuer formula 1 limited gulf edition,

Cartier Tank, Rolex Explorer 36mm,

Rolex explorer 2 Polar, 1977 vintage Rolex air king...

"Purchased a Rolex for mrsdpt for our 10 year anniversary.

They last a lifetime and can be handed down so I feel the cost is worth it for something like that.

What Model Rolex? I collect them...

I've got a tudor black bay with black bezel, lovely watch.

I'd rather have a tudor than a Rolex, I don't like rolex at all, I don't really know why.

I buy my watches based on looks, I've got everything from a £400 tissot to the Tudor and a few others in that price range.

Just got a Longines hydroconquest with blue dial.

Got my eye on a omega seamaster planet ocean too, be trading my breitling in for that as I don't really wear it. Gone off it for some reason.

I’m a big Omega fan, have a Seamaster which I brought in 95. I do like Tudor Black Bay but it will always be Omega for me. I can’t explain why, just like the quality and looks. "

Omega Flightmaster, made 1970, I bought it 1981 as a reconditioned. Cost me £1240 to have it completely reconditioned last year, but worth it
