Every fragrance smells different depending who is wearing it because it reacts differently with your skin.

I like the smell of some Avon perfumes on others but they all smell vile on me, something in them just doesn't suit me.

A mate of mine ruined a quite popular aftershave when he went through a dark time and stopped washing and tried to mask his stink with it, it didn’t work and it smelled like someone shit on a pile of flowers. Haven’t wore that type since

It can invoke pleasant and unpleasant memories can't it. Eau Sauvage invokes unpleasant memories for me.

Yes it’s over ten years now since then and still can’t stand the smell of the stuff
