Wow I had forgotten about the navy blue knickers. Horrible nylon things that possibly doubled up as shorts if you forgot your p.e kit

The blue school knickers that I saw were cotton,and very think,like the last lady said they were used for pe,it was great to watch them running round the playing field in there knickers when I was a school what lovely memoirs .
