Rich tea with cheese.

My friend was over earlier and whilst having a cuppa tea I got out the rich tea and a block of cheese. Instead of dunking my biscuit (too risky with rich teas) I was cutting slices of cheese off and putting them on my rich tea to eat.

I've done it for years, my gran used to do them for me as well, my friend said I was a weird cunt but does anyone else do rich tea biscuits with cheese on? Just curious I am.

mince pies with cheese and apple pie with cheese are excellent too - has to be the right kind of cheese though, a nice crumbly white wensleydale or Lancashire, depending on your allegiance

I was just going to say digestives are better. Mind you people think I'm weird for enjoying a good bitter marmalade on my beef sausages. Try it it's better than HP sauce

Mmmm yes on digestives- or thick butter.

Love toasted hot cross buns with cheese grilled til it’s bubbling. Even the thought of it makes me feel all

I prefer crackers with cheese but...

Totally agree that they are way too dangerous to dunk in tea

In the middle

I like a chunk of cheese with an apple, years ago they used to put slices of cheese in apple pie, I also like it on sticky ginger cake, it’s a taste sensation

I put apple in my salads. My gran used to have this salad spinning device where you whack the lettuce in, your cucumber and tomatoes and she'd put slices of apple in as well.

That's taken me back! Used to love rich tea and digestives with cheese.

Sadly, with a bmi well over 30 it's an indulgence of the past...for now.
