So according to a paper published this week (see man news)

Scientists at NASA Goddard institute for space technology have asked the question are we the earths first civilisation?

In a million years what would be left of mankind?

So basics of this paper says, perhaps an ancient intelligent species of lizard may have once existed, they are looking for clues in the oceans for polymers or nuclear evidence, also if the achieved space faring technology

They are looking for architectural evidence on the moon and mars

So what’s your opinion of this?

I'm flabbergasted the world has money to fund this research.

Brighton - even Hove!

There’s a place called ‘Lizard Point” in Cornwall - I think this is significant.

Although, seriously, I do believe there was an advanced civilisation before the ancient Egyptians and Sumarians etc, from about 15,000 bc

I think there are a lot of things we can’t explain, some archeology that still dumbfounded science today

But that’s subject to any real evidence, who has it seems is difficult to find.

But I am a romantic and think it’s a nice idea too

I think there are many things we don't know. Loads of things we thought were true have been shown not to be. The human race rather arrogantly assumes we're the most advanced species the world has ever known.

Iceland, but Aldi is closer..

Since NASA have stopped flying the shuttle and research into the mahoosive space craft they were designing went tits up cos the funding got pulled, they have been at a bit of a loose and.

The space race is now in the private sector so pretty much NASA have billions to spend and if they don't blow the budget by the end of the year, they will loose it (and we all know the shite that get bought with the end of year budget)... So here you go, this is what half a billion dollars can buy you in the final weeks of the last quarter, fecking lizard men living on mars or at the bottom of the sea... Well, Im sure the man from Atlantis wouldn't have been quite as popular with my mum if he had been a butt ugly lizard..

Absolutely this!! I really can't see any benefit in this kind of research. Archaeology and space travel etc.

The world is dying and they're wasting money on shite.
