Yeah... I was surprised when I was teaching in schools about 6-7 years ago...

One day the kids (roughly 14 years old) were all talking about Celebrity Milfs they liked... and they were all around my age... 25-30

Obviously I couldn’t join in... but it was a really funny conversation to overhear... and much better than hearing them talk about drugs and smoking and all that jazz

I’m personally not bothered by labels. Everyone has a different perception.

It’s more to do with the sentiment behind it for me.

I think today's common usage of MILF is a sexy confident woman - mother or not - who has moved beyond being just a young clubbing-type girlie and who seems to know what she likes and wants - which is VERY attractive.

It's very much a compliment. But if you don't like it, you don't like it.

The ladies that attend our MILF Monday event are a range of ages & different categories of motherhood - and I think this is a pretty good summary of how it is seen. It’s a much nicer, less predatory term than ‘cougar’ and covers an age range that is older than your teen / early 20’s girls.

And is definitely better than being called ‘middle aged’ or ‘older woman’
