The worst "Ive just treated myself to?"

I have just got back from the supermarket and treated myself to a new saucepan.

Then I thought "Really?"

Whatever happened to a bottle of plonk or a new shirt?

So .... What's your most recent rubbish self treat?

Sounds more exciting than my usual shopping list. Sod it I'm going to treat Kelby and myself to something nicer than a saucepan over the weekend. Maybe some new oven gloves or something.

Cake and custard. Due to a healthier lifestyle, low sugar, low sodium/salt. When I eat treats I can literally taste the amount of sugar or salt they put into these things. So nostalgic treats are no more for me.

Well, I was looking at a new laptop. It was beautiful! Specced to the max and obscenely expensive. I could chuck it on the office expenses I reckon. But I walked away and in to sainsburys instead and treated myself to a new non stick frying pan. It's really deep and has a lid and...

Oh god. What happened to me?!

A bottle of Morgan's....actually scrap that, that's quite a good buy. I did buy a bag of ice too, so I didn't have the arduous task of putting an ice cube tray in the freezer. That count?

Nooo! Not lazy. Cleaning the oven is one of the worst jobs. I'm getting in the professionals next time. My arms are too short and my boobs get in the way.

Honestly you really can do it yourself.

Astonish oven cleaner, rubber gloves, a blade and scrubbing pads, that's all the professionals would use anyway. £4 in products and you're literally paying the rest for someone else's elbow grease.

Pro's normally use caustic soda hot solution for the racks and caustic soda based oven cleaner for the inside. Its nasty stuff hubby cleans mine and we get told to leave the kitchen
