Not an actor but I can't stand Jeremy Clarkson.

I don't like Affleck that much, not dislike, he's just a bit nothing-y. But I watch him out of sympathy as quite a lot of people seem to dislike him.

Another actor I cannot stand is Jim Carey. I'd rather scoop my eyes out with rusty spoons than watch any of his films.

I keep trying to get MrWho to watch Eternal Sunshine as it's one of my favourite films ever. To be fair, I have to agree that his other films are utter tripe.

I know I'm supposed to be talking about actors rather than directors, but I absolutely detest any Richard Curtis films. So full of supposedly heart-warming cliches and schmaltzy romances. And in the case of The Boat that Rocked, misogyny and sleaze.

"Not the biggest fan of Tom Cruise, but credit where its due, he was very good in Magnolia and Born On The 4th of July."

Born the 4th July was a very good film I admit.

Every time he is on screen with a great actor it just shows him up. Nicolson in a Few Good Men. Hoffman in Rain Man to name a couple.

His films did have a running theme as well.

Cocktail. He was a cocktail waiter, he could have been the best. He has a crisis of confidence, meets a beautiful woman and fulfills his potential.

Swap cocktail waiter for racing driver in Days of Thunder and pilot in Top Gun etc etc etc
