Growing up we were so poor, I couldn't leave the house becouse my parents couldn't afford clothes for me.

When I was 8 they bought me a hat.

That

1. I restricted the kids to using one or two squares of toilet paper

2. coffee was liquid chicory

3. one chicken breast fed four by shredding it and wrapping it in a white sauce (pepper salt flour and butter)

Making a thin crepe to wrap it in.

4. one chicken breast in soup that was more broth than not to feed four

5. Nothing but a pot of jam in the cupboard and a neighbour gave us 12 bread rolls that morning (not knowing)

6. One bar of sunlight soap for family - cut into 4 sections - washing up, hand basin, body wash and shampoo.

It happens - tough at the time - we wake up with a breath, eye sight, and perhaps today will be different

You serious? I'm in that situation now. I don't beg and stay clean. Its weird, because I'm better off than if I was in a flat as I don't have bills to pay lol. I got a tent etc and got it quite cozy TBH. I shower at gym and eat healthy. Its the people on drugs and drink that need to beg. Not saying you were but I understand their situations.

A few years back I was so skint that I survived on bowls of pasta mixed with bisto gravy for a whole month, for a treat id sometimes grate what little cheese I had over it.

or google homemade shampoo

or even ive used heavily diluted fairy liquid

actually it wont hurt not washing it fora while ,probably make it healthier
