I'm on a rant so apologies in advance.

This customer service quote 'the customer is always right' is the biggest pile of shite. I had to deal with a person at work today and he had such an arrogant attitude.

Decided he was a TWUNT.....when Twat or C*unt just don't cover it enough by themselves.

Right, glass of wine, chill and make me laugh friendly fabbers.

I never went with that. I'd always help a customer out but if the problem was of their own making or they were being a twat, I was fairly frank about that. Caused my mega PC line manager apoplexy on a number of occasions..

Somewhere In The Ether…

‘The customer is always right’ is indeed a misnomer if ever I’ve heard one.

By way of example, I was behind a right thick, whinging bastard in Asda the other day who’s likely closest brush with being correct on absolutely anything was to put his shoes on the correct feet that morning

It's a crock of shite!! If a customer is in the wrong I've got no problem telling them so.

If they are in the right, then I will help them all I can.

here

Customer service doesn’t exist in the uk.

I don’t expect it now, so I am never disappointed or disgruntled.

" Well come on we need the full story in order to decide!!!"

It would take far too long to tell, but a plank of wood has a much nicer personality than he did. It was his attitude and his mannerism and the way he spoke to me, just no need I tell you, no need. But hey.....the wine and chocolates are going down well

There and to the left a bit

The art of good customer service is balancing the needs of the customer against the needs of the company you represent, and sometimes that means telling the customer they are wrong - the key being how you tell the customer they are wrong, which can sometimes mean politely but firmly.

A more useful saying should be: the customer is always right unless they’re incorrect!
