Bought a printer and print quality is not upto satisfaction.. contacted the retailer on the 14th day and he says, he can’t accept return as printers are not subject to statutory consumers right because there is ink involved and you have used the printer. I contacted consumers helpline and they advised that you are within your rights to return the printer as it’s not of satisfactory quality.

What do I do when retailer is refusing to accept return?

Did you pay by credit or debit card?

If c/card contact them they'll sort it for you

You'll get a refund of the c/card company then, they'll do a charge back against the retailer; up to them (the retailer) to try and get the printer returned then

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

As above, but also publicly shame them on TwitTwat, both the retailer and the manufacturer.

We all live and learn. Report to Trading Standards. Threaten Small Claims Court proceedings and report the matter to your Credit Card provider who will dispute the matter on your behalf.
