I shall atempt to make my version of the Chinese Hot and Sour soup, as I managed to get quite a bit of discounted roast chicken breasts on Friday.

My local Chinese take away does a really nice one, and I hope mine can match it.

What is everyone having tonight?

Probably nothing tonight because for dessert today I made bread and butter pudding, spreading cointreau and orange marmalade over the bread and butter and layering with cream and custard. It did taste yummy but it was so sickly that we cant manage to eat anything else

A Home Among The Woodland Creatures

Funnily enough I'm also having hot and sour soup.

I do a kind of chinese / thai / japanese fusion by using Tom Yum paste as the base, but then add japanese udon noodles, and do a couple of egg drops on the top.

Soup is tasty, however it involved a lot of cutting, slicing and chopping etc., so it is unlikely I shall make it again in a hurry!

Hope everyone enjoyed his/her dinner!
