Adult colouring - gifts and other ideas

I remember seeing a thread about adult colouring a while ago and I’m hoping that some forumites might be able to help.

I have a family member who experiences anger issues and uses colouring as a relaxation technique. She’s really rather good but all of her works are hidden inside books. I was just wondering what others do with the finished products? Do you display them or do anything else crafty with them?

Also the in terms of gifts, other than the obvious books and pens/pencils, is there anything else related that she might like?

I did a quick search on one of the well known shopping sites and wasn’t quite expecting karma sutra, swear words and cock colouring books! And what on earth is in the colouring book for lesbians?!

Some great ideas on Ebay I send them to a friend who is housebound and she loves them.

Give different types of pens also so they can vary the effect.

I got the colourful cock colouring book as my secret santa present from people at work! They know me so well

I never get time to finish them I'm afraid, so I'm no help

Lol Ive seen them on amazon..

I buy the books by an illustrator called kirby rosanes, who draws fantastical creatures and who encourages people who have coloured his art in to post it on social media

Poundland do a small selection of adult colouring books

I suffer with depression and anxiety and find them helpful, my main calming activity is making papercraft models, it gives me something to concentrate on. there are quite a few websites with free printable models to make, e.g. cars, buildings, masks ect. Ranging in difficulty levels.

Ive seen others that paint or draw and put their works in a plastic water proof bag with a little note inside saying 'free to a good home' and leave it somewhere for someone to pick up.

Dont see why it couldnt work with coloured pictures too.

A nice way for her to share her work and maybe make someone else smile too.

Thanks for the suggestions. She is a teenager and doesn’t let her friends know she does colouring. I think she is a bit embarrassed that it might be seen as ‘kids stuff’ even though some of the books she has are quite challenging. I like the idea of anonymous gifts and maybe that will go down quite well.

I've been considering tracing a pattern from an adult colouring book and embroidering it. That would be one way of displaying it either framed or as a cushion or panel.
