It's probably because your profile header says "anyone miss me".

They are trying to catch your eye and show they have read your profile.

If these kind of messages are annoying you it might be worth changing it.

This is a joke right? You have your profile header saying you're back anyone miss you then wonder why you're getting messages saying you've been missed.

If I wrote a header saying I like using the fine edge of a cheese grater on bell ends I'd get guys offering me their penis to grate.
