I know im the same and what everyone will see with me.

But is anyone else surprised by face to body pics,

I know youll never really know what someone looks like but dont you build a picture of what they might look like probably based on there bodies, erc, then there nothing like what you thought? Not in a bad way or a good way, but just different?

Or am i on my own here haha

I've been really surprised how some people look on the Face pic Friday thread.

And a couple of people I've spoken to on the phone didn't have the voices I expected - and they said the same about me.

It goes to show how much we a generalise.

At least when people message me I know that they’re happy with all of me though. That’s primarily why I show myself too to toe on my pics - so they can’t be disappointed if we meet up!

Wish I'd commented now, I was genuinely going to say you had dark hair. That's another thing of mine, dark hair is my thing if you like so I automatically assume, along with handsomeness, all guys will have dark hair!

Oh, you are right, cant be blind dating these days. Makes it awkward when you say no thankyou, at least it is less likely if.yoube seen them to know if you think there attractive. I think its the initial talking where you have the mystery as you see the personality before the person. Then if you like you get to see each others "mugs" haha x

I always think people might be disappointed when they meet me, I have found all the camera angles that make my body look nice and in all honesty it is not the best, it is flabby n wobbly from a big weightloss, so is not gonna be for everyone. Don't get me wrong, I am more than happy with my bodies appearance when I am naked and infront of someone and have had no complaints, so far, but I do feel my pics are kinda false advertising...my face ones aren't tho as I don't use alot of makeup or filters. Have also heard from a friend, after he had met a few ladies, that they were bigger than he expected, so I guess there are a few of us that do it eh?

I have found that most blokes look better in person than in their pictures tho, I think it is often due to the mean n moody look or the silly face pulling guys have in their face pics

Me either, is why ya take 50 pics to get 2 ya are ok with other people seeing. I usually hate my face pics but some look quite nice as long as I don't look like I should be on crimewatch or that I have just had a bloody stroke I am happy!

This is commonly my reaction - I automatically expect a stunning head on a hot body.

I always show a few recent face pics to guys I'm interested in meeting, and even though I do describe myself in my profile, they always seem surprised (in a positive way thankfully)

Decided to go on a date and once we met face to face it really took the wind out of my sails. Felt really positive before we met then after I just didn't feel interested. I will add that it wasn't just down to the look but it did play a part.

I was going to make a thread similar to this, not so much about putting people to shame but more for appreciation of alot of the older women and how toned and sexy there figures are! Im glad im not the only one to notice this

I'm not that visual so I find it hard to picture someone's face when I see their body. Saying that, on a very rare few occasions I have been surprised when I have got things like imagined hair colour totally wrong. Other people always seem to look better in real life than they do in pics as well; which is an eternal annoyance to me because I am the exact photogenic opposite. My face looks great in a pic but in real life it's kind of nondescript - but it is serviceable and I happen to like it. But then I am used to seeing it often in everyday situations rather than just through the fab microcosm.

"I'm not that visual so I find it hard to picture someone's face when I see their body. Saying that, on a very rare few occasions I have been surprised when I have got things like imagined hair colour totally wrong. Other people always seem to look better in real life than they do in pics as well; which is an eternal annoyance to me because I am the exact photogenic opposite. Afraid to say i cant feel your pain there, id like to think I'm the non photogenic but ok in person (if I'm wrong then im fucked

) and they way you described you face as serviceable had me in hysterics! Haha, but at least you dont have the surprise factor when seeing someone you weren't expecting (due to the picture you painted) x
