Maybe it is the association with rufty tufty workmen, but I like the smell of hot tar. They are all outside working with the stuff at the moment. What strange smells do you like?

Creosote. Maybe there's an ingredient in it that is in tar and petrol that humans like the smell of.

I also love the smell of coal tar soap.

Love the smell of hot tar too

and Germoline. TCP too but only because it reminds me of being a little kid.

I also love the smell of hot people, not like sweaty but hot dry people who have been sunbathing. Princess uses a sunbed occasionally because of his SAD and I just have to sniff him all over when he gets home and be a snufflepig :D

Apparently it’s very good for chesty coughs and congestion but don’t stand in it too long as you’ll melt your shoes and get stuck at the same time
