The name suggests not, but I’d dunk a Jaffa cake in my tea. I wouldn’t dunk a cake.

Traffic land

I wouldn’t dunk a Jaffa cake... but you will find them in the biscuit aisle.

If any of my cakes came out like a jaffa cake, I think I’d give up baking

Somewhere In The Ether…

Ahhhh this is the old VAT debate; I think they’re a secret biscuit personally though.

I have some (almost) fascinating information relating to them also; I used to go out with a girl who’s friends grandfather invented the special edible ‘glue’ which serves to secure the tangy centre to the biscuit.

I am almost proud of this former association in fact

It's a cake.

Cakes go hard when stale.

A biscuit goes soft when stale.

Iceland, but Aldi is closer..

"Its a biscuit you can dunk it"

You can dunk a mobile phone in your tea, that does not, by association make it any more of a biscuit than a jaffa cake once dunked or prior to the dunking.. ps, the clue is in the name...

You can also dunk witches although you would need a very large cup of tea to be able to do that in...

Cake! Don’t belong in the biscuit aisle.

Should be banned!

I feel very strongly about this

When a biscuit goes stale it goes soft.

When a cake goes stale it goes hard and dry.

Therefore a Jaffa cake is a cake!

it's not the cake/biscuit definition that attracts VAT, it's the chocolate

The realist question to ever ask, basically the same as asking the what's the meaning of life. I think Jaffa cakes are an i between dimensional physics and is both!
