Iceland, but Aldi is closer..

the great films that used to be regulars at easter and Christmas such as The amazing mr Blunden and Those magnificent men in their flying machines to name a couple?

I recall a load of really good films, it seems a shame that such greats should just disappear into the annals of time...

What other classics are we missing that deserve to be remembered.

I remember going to a cinema in Kent to see that film and being let in half way through the film and then staying to see the first half of the film in the next showing, it was always great to know how a film ended before it started, nothing quite like a plot spoiler...

It was and I have just read the American release name for the film

which was "Those daring young men in their jaunty jalopies".

Another blast from the past was the great train robbery with Sean Connery.

No - that was the Great Race. Tony Curtis played The Great Leslie & I think Natalie Wood May have been the love interest! "

No wonder we're confused - just checked IMDB and Tony Curtis was in both of them!! The Great Race was an all American cast with Jack Lemmon amongst others.

Monte Carlo Or Bust was the one with Terry Thomas and Eric Sykes as well as Peter Cook and Dudley Moore

All i can find is Inner Space which it isn't. .. Really bugging me now that I can't think of the name..

Oh wow! I just had a flash of being really little and watching this on Christmas Eve. We were allowed to stay up to watch it, then had to go to bed when it finished, because we needed to be asleep before Santa came. That made me a little emotional. Thank you for that
