"Bugsy Malone " I remember going to a cinema in Kent to see that film and being let in half way through the film and then staying to see the first half of the film in the next showing, it was always great to know how a film ended before it started, nothing quite like a plot spoiler...

"Ghostbusters II" That one was awful, not a patch on the original but still far better than the latest iteration cos that was just dire...

"Monte Carlo or Bust Its a Mad Mad Mad Mad World" Was Monte Carlo Or Bust the one that was basically Those Magnificent Men In Their Flying Machines but with cars? Had Terry Thomas with Eric Sykes as his henchman? There were a few very similar along those lines so get them confused

Another blast from the past was the great train robbery with Sean Connery.

Tony Curtis played The Great Leslie & I think Natalie Wood May have been the love interest!

"One of our dinosaurs is missing - peter ustinov Loved watching this cheery film at christmas. Fortunately most of the films mentioned above can still be found through the various streaming operators" Seconded, purchased on DVD a few years ago, suprisingly racist now, which probably explains why it's now shown much.

The Great Race was an all American cast with Jack Lemmon amongst others. Monte Carlo Or Bust was the one with Terry Thomas and Eric Sykes as well as Peter Cook and Dudley Moore

Surely that's what makes it great Exactly " Oh wow! I just had a flash of being really little and watching this on Christmas Eve. We were allowed to stay up to watch it, then had to go to bed when it finished, because we needed to be asleep before Santa came. That made me a little emotional. Thank you for that

"what was the film where they shrunk a submarine with people in and injected it in someone to go and fix him inside? All i can find is Inner Space which it isn't. .. Really bugging me now that I can't think of the name.." I believe you're thinking of "Fantastic Voyage" featuring Raquel Welch - I remember my dear old Dad commenting "thank goodness they didn't shrink her boobs"
