I've come to the conclusion they think that by the time the social happens they'll have talked you into dropping your undies. When they realise you aren't budging as far letting them in your vag right away they decide against it but don't have the balls to admit it.

Yeah I’ve been stood up a few times. Years ago I was going to the places and the other person didn’t turn up. From this site I’ve had a few where arrangements have been made but they messaged last minute with an excuse. Could have been genuine but I’m sceptical when things happen like that

Yup I had it last week it was the first time I was looking to meet in months and I thought suns shining would be nice to spend it in the sunshine with someone. Didn't let it ruin my day, spent it in my garden catching the rays

My boyfriend and I posted a meet up, a barrage of "hey fancy a chat" "cam now" messages ensued.

Chat!?? Cam, We doth indeed think not. Having a bubble I think.

No, it’s never ok. I was trying to explain why I think some people are surprised the OP was stood up. I’m not particularly attractive to the moajority of people myself and it’s still annoying as hell when stood up

That sounds so annoying, I've only been let down once so have been lucky. It's really frustrating to be all excited about the prospect of meeting someone new only to be stood up.

I'm close to Bristol and I'm super reliable... just saying

Very true ...... if someone sets a coffee social and a let’s meet now in my hotel sex offer comes along... most people would go for the sex offer. Conversely if a couple sets up a date with a single guy but a hot couple offer comes along most couples would take the Couples offer.

I’m not saying it’s right but these things happen
