Having a bottle of Jack Daniels for supper. Was suppose to be at a party tonight but didn't like the look of it m,m,m,m me.? So made my excuses and dropped out. Having a night in with Jack and Denzel Washington in 'Man on fire' Boy I cry every time I watch this movie.

Roast wild duck in a port and marmalade sauce, baked home grown Pink Fur apples, home grown carrots and broad beans, apple and home grown blackcurrant pie.

Wash it down with some real Somerset cider.

Cardboard pizzas and processed hamburgers with nuked vegetables?

Dismal.

Ive found away of doing a baked rice pudding slimmers way and i do it with a little cinnamon and apple. I put all sorts of fruit in it though. Hadnt had homemade rice pudding for years. Obviously the way i do it it doesnt have the creaminess but still very tasty
