Good luck to any fabster getting ready to run the London marathon this morning.

I absolutely love the London marathon. It has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Such an iconic race and regarded as one of the best marathons in the world!

As a kid I remember going to watch my dad and his uncle run in the marathon and as most of you know (and pretty much anyone I meet cos you know what they say.... How do you know if someone has run a marathon? Don't worry they'll tell you!) last year I followed on those great men's footsteps and completed it myself. It wasn't fast and if was pretty but I've got the medal, the t-shirt and the memories.

It's going to be a hot one today so please make sure you fake. On board plenty of water and use every drop either to drink or to douse yourself. If you have water left offer it to those around you. Run through the showers on the route.

Pace accordingly. Today is not a pb setting day!

But most of all enjoy it! Soak up every bit of atmosphere. Smile and wave at the supporters on the course. Look around you or you'll miss the landmarks (I didn't see cutty sark and only noticed I was on tower bridge when I was half way across lol)

If you are running and want to be tracked let me know your number!

Good luck!

I love it. From the elite runners (go Mo!) to the mass participants. I'm tracking loads of people I know!

You could see how much that hurt him, left it all out on the road, fantastic run.

I don't think he is American. He is attempting to recreate forest gump's run across America..... 5 times

I just felt like running.
