I work with this lassie at the kennels. And well as you can guess i had to fall in love with her or something darn close to it. I made her laugh, i got her little pressies, i made her pasties. you name i done it. perhaps i was too enthusiastic. But what a girl does to a guy a guy is sure to extend his gratitude. anyway. Anyway she is in this long distance relationship with a guy who also is in the dog show world. But the family and some staff seems to think it won't last which encourages me to secretly kept trying though but in a subtle way. Though i doubt it will be that now she knows i like her. When i said i had feelings for her and had written a letter explaining this and other matters she came to me the next day and said thanks for the letter but i have a b/f but i just want to be friends.

The thing is: I work 5x wk at this place and when they are away at a dog show each w/e the permanent staff[just one] complains every minute of this girl. It gets me down not being the b/f and having to put up with this incessant slagging. So i confronted her about it and i think i put a stop to it.

My question is this: Should I risk staying interested in her at the cost of furthering my feelings towards her or try and stay friends. Which brings up another question: She said I can't be my b/f because she has feelings for this guy. Are my feelings for her of the same nature as hers is for this guy and this guys for her. She admits she couldn't do it yet she expects me to be just friends and turn it down. Too confusing....

I fought for 2 years to stay married to my ex...

You must make your own priorities in life...

Patience... Wait and see if she stays with the other man...

If you really care... Do as she asks...

Worst case you dont get your wish, but keep a friend... (Who could have a friend...;-))

Your best case... She leaves the other man and realises what a good friend you have been, and...

Good luck...;-);-)
