Had my smear today and the woman couldn’t see my strings, anyone else had this? It was due to be replaced next month anyway and this is my second one I’ve had over the past ten years and this is the first time I’ve had any ‘problems’. Got a scan booked soon.

And yes I’ve done a test! No geeky baby lol. (Which makes me a little upset)

Geeky x

It might be the threads are covered in skin now, they’ll scan to find it and check in right place. If the GP can’t get it out, you’ll be referred to the hospital. I hope it’s located and sorted.

I had this, the doc was worried he wouldn't be able get it out but he did without any issues. I'm sure it'll be fine but good that they're checking x

East Sussex

Did you have the strings cut really short? Sometimes they curl right up and are difficult to see.
