this island of mine...a couple of breezy days have meant the ferry and the freight boat have not maded it over from the mainland...it's sent the islanders into a seige mentality....they've stripped the supermarket in much the same way a swarm of locusts would strip a crop...would've thought they'd all be used to it by now......it made me chuckle

am so glad i bake my own bread etc etc etc

it was the throat warbling that won over the women's network group i think....they've asked me to be on their committee now so things are looking up (and no.....not up their skirts )

obviously, we have a small tesco here...we are still part of planet earth after all

and don't knock the dried egg....the travelling show that brings it round also has a great variety of cure all lotions

all my spare eggs have now been sealed, so will hopefully see me through the winter
