Anything about workplace pensions.

Is it really worth paying into ?

How much will it top up your state pension ? (if there is one there in 30 years)

If I have 40k when I turn 70 and receive £50 a week, I would have to live until I was 85 to get back what I put in, That's if it is topped up by £50

I have had a quick look on Google but can't find this information

I know enough to know that a swingers forum is not the best place to ask about them.

Good question. Do your work have a pension advisor? It confuses the heck out of me. Lump sum sounds great if I drop dead at 67 and don't need to live off the rest.

Trying to get that information out of my work is harder then getting a meet on here

I did read that you get 25% tax free if you get a lump sum then taxed on the rest of it

I'd be too worried about spending it all on a sport's car then having to live in it till I was 90 because I'd be skint.

I don't think I'll need to worry about pensions, they won't exist by the time I retire. Or we'll have been nuked.
