France.

Covers all the basis for us. Sun holidays, ski trips, historical trips, activity breaks, art, architecture, great food and great wine...oh and Cap A'dge, yeah, we're fully catered for.

Nothing wrong with travelling on your todd. China, India and Nepal were all solo trips. You can meet great people while holidaying .

"France, France, and France for me"

I was astonished by how pricey it was last year. And to be honest I thought Cap D'Agde was the naffest place I've ever been over there!

I have a lot of love for Canazei, in the Dolomite Alps, NE Italy - decent skiing in winter, amazing climbing (and hiking, biking, cheeky skinny-dipping) in summer, more scenic than most chocolate boxes and great food too.

Also really enjoyed Costa de la Luz area of SW Spain - proper 'Spanish' feel, distinct lack of Carling and Full English, lots of lovely clothes-optional beaches...

It is expensive, not helped by the Pound not back to where it belongs. We all know it should be 1.50 euros to a pound.

Fuel has shot up also. Still, you can eat and drink well and cheaply if you do your own thing.

I was looking forward to trying the Cap for the first time , you have me worried now OP

Marmaris - Turkey

Love it there - the heat, the people, the food & drink and just a lovely part of the country.

A USA tour is on my bucket list, but for time being I'll stick to laying around a pool in the scorching sun
