It’s the little things?

This phrase gets som credit when someone doesn’t get how there small gesture can mean a lot more than they think.

Is it a foot rub after a long day, maybe just handing you a brew at the perfect time? It could be commenting how nice you look when your just not feeling it today.

I’m not saying a weekend away or that piece of jewellery being given to me isn’t appreciated, but sometimes, it’s the little things that help me feel good the majority of the time.

What little thing do people do, or have done for you that gets you smiling?

When someone includes me in the first round of drinks at work and leaves me a coffee on my desk for when I get in. (I start 15 minutes after everyone else so often get missed). That makes me smile

Very few men give flowers. I got sent flowers to my work when I was younger, I remember the smile it put in my face. Yes, men like the gesture too.

My dog knows when I'm sad. She will put her head on my lap and just stay there. She's definitely saying "it'll be alright mum". Love her.
