Is it wrong to feel like one should get a tattoo to elevate oneself in the rankings of men in the swinging world?

I'm "Mr Average" I guess, and thinking / wondering if a tattoo might help me get from a C to a C+ / B-?

The question then is, what to get, and where to get it?

I know it's possibly the wrong motivation, but even though we're a hotwife couple, I've only managed to "swing" once in the last couple of years lol, I wouldn't mind giving it a whirl and seeing the attention tattoos get, I wonder if this might help?

Is it really that easy a "Get out of jail / get in to fun" card?

Personally I'd hope it was the person and not their body modifications most people were interested in - I'd certainly not consider a tattoo, or changing anything else about me for that matter, in the hope it would increase my chances of a meet.

See just as many profiles that say they find tattoos a turn off than see them as a turn on, so can't see a tattoo would necessarily have the desired effect.

Personally, a tattoo would be unlikely to be the make or break for whether I wanted to fuck someone. If you want a tattoo, get one. If that’s your sole motivation for body modification then I’d consider the “what if” first, what if it doesn’t get you anymore luck than now? If you won’t regret getting it and no improvement then fine, if not - don’t get one.

In all honesty though have a think about what you’d like in terms of style etc.

Most people will tell you a tiny tattoo that took 15mins needs a 10 hour long back story to it.

The majority of mine are there because I thought they looked cool.

I turn up to the shop, tell the guy what ideas I’ve got, he draws on me with a sharpie pen and then tattoos over it.

I guess my perception is that there's a lot that are just DTF (down to fuck).

I'm not going to be Mr 6 Pack...

And we are pretty much exclusively club goers, we don't get chance for socials...

I brush my teeth, my hair is my own... *shrugs*

Indeed, probably the reason I haven't had one yet despite just about every friend / person I know having one, is that I have no idea what to get...

But I guess perhaps it gets that attention?

And indeed, as long as I got the right tattoo for me, and it netted me no more interest, I've not lost anything.

Only if I got the wrong tattoo would I be at a net loss...

I think it's the last few times we've been out it's got me pondering!

Depends what you are looking for and how you are going about it I guess - will always be harder for the male half of a couple when it comes to finding solo meets, but not completely impossible

Definitely don't think a tattoo is the answer though.

A tattoo would never be a deciding factor in whether I fancy someone or not.

Also...speaking as a future tattoo artist and someone with a fair amount of ink myself...only get a tattoo if you really want one and only get what you really want! Or you WILL regret it and tattoo removal is much more expensive and painful than the tattoo itself.

Since I started getting tattooed where people can see I've had as many people say they're not fans of tattoos as people who are into them.

Luckily the girls I tend to be into are usually tattooed so it works out.

For you though man, for people who find tattoos specifically attractive I think they'd want a little more than a tiny thing on a shoulder. Go big or go home and for you I'd recommend not getting them done if that's your motivation.

You should get a tattoo because you want a tattoo not because you want to blend in here - people without tattoos are becoming a rarity and therefore unadorned skin will stand out.... I am fairly heavily tattooed but I was already that before I even became a swinger

But for the do like... American Traditional, black work / fine line, and some water colour...

Japanese looks great, but again, not sure what it would do for ginger skin!

Ginger skin nice and pale will suit any colour or blacks and greys.

You could get a cheap stick man tatt then apply for Tattoo Fixers to get a really cool one to cover it.

I don’t think Louis malloys work is actually that good, tattoo artists that can do his work are common.

Check out an artist called polish dan, his work is fantastic.

Are these celebrity tattooists? My local tattoo dude is (in my opinion) better as the big name in Manchester City center.

I’m booked in next week for my big tat, and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Tattoos are personal, and the person sticking needles in you is your choice, and shouldn’t be made by someone else. No?

Well, I've seen Louis' work up close for some big art. And it wow'd me.

Also helps, not being a woman, so wouldn't get "sleazed" on LOL.

But yeah, it's Middleton for his studio.

But yeah, hey ho, I guess it is back to the inkless drawing board, and to figure out what I am doing wrong otherwise

Might be cheaper to try and get a 6 pack and get results that way instead LOL.

Guess I've seen Louis' work up close, and it was pretty fricking good.

There are certainly some artists on Ink Master I'd love to see (except for being in the USA...)

But yeah, we'll see what the craic is, but it's looking like the skin shall remain un inked and I'll be happy with my wife
