Just curious, how many people use a top sheet in bed? We don't, just use fitted sheet with duvet. Wonder how many agree or disagree with us.

Haven't had a top sheet for a lot of years, can't see the point in making washing you don't need

Same... I fidget too much for a top sheet, I would end up strangling myself with it by morning

My mother always did the whole top sheet and duvet thing. I moved out and ditched it straight away. I struggle putting the duvet tidy in the morning, I haven’t got time for a top sheet too!

somewhere in Buckinghamshire

Yes to top sheet all year. change the sheets every time, duvet cover every 2nd or 3rd change in winter. Generally fold duvet back in summer & only use sheets.

"both usually, except in hot summer, i'm always too hot, so i can kick away the duvet leaving a sheet still on me.."

I put a top sheet with the duvet in the summer for that reason. I don't bother in the winter. The winter duvet is warm enough and if I get cold I'll add a blanket to the top or shut the window.

Who the fuck uses one of these now? Sure in 1981 when they were a thing and duvets were not, making your bed like you were in the army and then feeling like you were trapped but now? No ones got time for that shit!

Top sheet here, so it can be washed frequently and duvet cover less often as nightmare to change them!
