I have no idea. It's normally the reverse. I know for me the anonymity of the internet makes it easier to be confident, at least if you get knocked back they can't see your embarrassment.

I know what you mean mate. I think it's good though not to be too confident, especially here. There are alot of strong personalities here. It's good to talk to people as you would normally. I think people say things that are disrespectful just because they're on line.

It also makes it easier for the keyboard warriors to show what wankers they are

Strange though, because off Fabs I’m less confident and on here it’s easier to be a more confident personality.

Why do you feel less confident here OP?

I've got the "patta" with the woman. Their at ease and I like that. They just seem arrogant. Think some of the guys have ruined it for being desperate

no one has ruined anything for anyone else...each profile is viewwed on its own merits...or there would be no women on here at all if you follow that logic. In what way are you finding women arrogant on here? anything to do with getting your messages replied to?

What's with the hostility? I get replies back. The majority of fab I'm assuming is probably male. Most of them (not all) think with their dick.

no hostility, i just asked why you think women on here are arrogant...very often men say that when they aren't getting replies, which is why i asked if that was your reason..

I get replies so that's irrelevant. There's a lot of female on fab too yes, but I don't speak to every single female onot here. Not all the same no.

I would prefer to meet someone face to face so i can get eye contact and read their body language. Sending messages to someone you cant see i find rather daunting.

You must know why you are not confident on here? Is it the knock backs you have had from women?

The womenfolk don't like any negativity towards them, don't worry about it.

I agree and I think a lot of the men do ruin it for others. Whether that's by being abusive or being overly 'nice' and desperate for a fuck. It pisses people off then there's just a cycle of abuse that both sides keep going.

Some people are nice. Don't let the arrogant ones get you down.

I've had plenty of knock backs in my life time. I ain't everybody's cup of tea. A post a few up just said it. Can't tell by the body language over a screen maybe.

Confident people are never rude and dismissive.

Unfortunately quite a few on here are just those two things.

That’s all depends if it’s a confident person faced with a wanker because they’ll likely have confidence to give as good as they get

I enjoy chatting online but prefer to meet in person... I can lack confidence but I just about manage to control it...

Seeing someone and talking and being able to pick up on their body language is much better for me personally

Or just having the confidence to say it how it is

I know plenty of confident people that can be equally abusive when met with it

Confidence is a preference for the habitual voyeur of what is known as

(Parklife)

And morning soup can be avoided if you take a route straight through what is known as

(Parklife)

John's got brewer's droop he gets intimidated by the dirty pigeons, they love a bit of him

(Parklife)

Who's that gut lord marching, you should cut down on your porklife mate, get some exercise

All the people

So many people

And hey all go hand-in-hand

Hand-in-hand through their parklife

Know what I mean?

Couldn't resist

Northampton Somewhere

On here we only have your profile and pics to go on really!!

In real life your personality would shine through and actually talking to someone face to face makes a big difference. I know, it's crazy, right?

Confident people (women in particular) may project themselves to low Emotional Intelligent people as being aloof and stuck up, which in all likelihood isn't the case. Too many people jump to conclusions about what the other person is thinking, when in truth it's their own low self-esteem that is creating that narrative.

Shame really, so much wasted energy when simply not getting hung up about it and moving on would help them not carry that baggage into the next meet/conversation and stop them being open-minded and assertively confident to pay them the attention that may get them noticed.

We’re living in a world where people know that they can delete, block, unmatch you if you don’t live up to their vision of exactly what they want. There are millions of people at the click of a button or a swipe to the right.

There and to the left a bit

"But there are a lot of arrogant female

"

Genuinely interested to know why you think that OP? Whilst there are "some" of both genders who come across as arrogant - that's not the norm in my experience and certainly wouldn't describe it as "a lot".

As others have said some find face to face easier and are more confident that way - others (myself included) are a little more confident on-line initially, where you have that bit of time to think about what to say that you don't get face to face. The lucky ones are equally confident in either scenario.

BTW if you use the "Reply & Quite" button when responding we'll know who you're replying to
