Grand National horse race today

I'd suggest an each way bet as so hard to pick the winner on a race this size .

The favourite means nothing as can get boxed in or fall .

E/W means you win of your gee gee comes 1st 2nd 3rd and maybe 4th but say 1/3rd of the odds.

So £2.50 e/w = £5

10/1 similar to 3/1 on each way bet

Can I have your choices please

Race starts 5.15 this afternoon.

Really hope no horses get hurt. There were about 3 badly down at Cheltenham.

I'd rather it were banned too .

You'd never see a horse running round a track at full speed jumping over fences of its own accord or for fun ..

Sorry to disagree but when a horse falls in the national the horse continues to run with the pack without the jockey.

It's almost as if it was conditioned to do that.

In just the last 12 months, horse racing in the U.K. has seen 202 horses killed.

In the last 10 years 41 horses died racing Aintree's Grand National course.

Many of them had broken legs, knees and fractured bones during the race, so were subsequently shot. Others fell and broke their necks, spines and shoulders, collapsing with fatal injuries, and either dying on the course or dying by lethal injection. Some were trampled on and some had heart attacks.
