"So our gov and USA started air strike on Syria, if Russia bomb us back, would you blame them or Mrs May?"

the strikes came hours before the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) team was scheduled to arrive in Douma to determine whether chemical weapons had indeed been used there.

Sounds like there trying to bomb the fuck out of the evidence to me. Cause if truth be told it was false flag in the first place, sources are unable to be verified. And there is only one operational hospital, if chemical weapons where used they'd know about it for sure. The west really are the worst!

Suspected chemical attack and possible done by the jihad rebels.

As syria has all but won the civil war there just one last stronghold, america last week said they are removing their troops from syria.

Im pretty sure assad knowing what happens when chemical weapons are used would bring down the international community on him...so why do it, it makes zero sense.

Sombody orchestrated that chem attack that needed the anericans to stay put and bring in other nations.

We shouldnt be getting invold in this when its totally iffy.

Notice the media propaganda saying about russia vetoing any inspection...but i watched the video...they offered to escort the main independent chemical weapons specialists to the area as russia wanted a true independent group and not ones that will fabricate evidance.

Because if you count, poising your own people. To make some one else loops like the bad party. Is that innocent?

Even porton down (the lap that tested the nerve agent in sainsbury) has a dark past, poisoning there own people. Civilians, military personnel. Etc testing chemical weapons

More than 400 military personnel were deliberately exposed to chemical weapons in government-run experiments which seriously breached ethical standards, an official report has concluded. The men were exposed to painful amounts of nerve gas and mustard gas by scientists at the Porton Down chemical warfare establishment in Wiltshire.

Have we been bombed for it same principle. We are fucking shit bags the whole world has gone to shit..

As it has already been mentioned above, this due to the suspected chemical attack.

The same media/government who told us about Irak and weapons of mass destruction (WMD), which we know to be totally untrue.

Now, it make me laugh when I see the US lecturing Syria on chemical attack and taking actions against.

Haven't they used agent orange on Vietnam? Which, still have consequences up to today.

So if they really concerned about helping people, they should to help the people they fucked up by using chemical attack!

France, uk or other allies are just puppets.

Now, if it starts another world war... None of those leaders will have any bruises but civilians in each side will pay the full price as usual.

"

see... i know you like to push the "russia today" narrative.... but what you say is simply not true.....

actually what was offered on both un resoulutions sides was the following...

the west (us,uk france ect) wanted the same mechanism that was in place that the UN agreed to in the past, of which the joint mandate between the un and the OPCW ran out in november.......

they actually are asking for nothing extra... not one extra thing..... just put back in place what was in place....

(on a side note.. the russians have now vetoed this 5 time since the mandate ran out.... but that isn't part of the conversation that you want to have)

what the russians actually wanted was that the OPCW could come in.... but they have to be flanked by other russian or syrian security forces.... (they wouldn't be allowed to wander round by themselves....)

... and all the OPCW monitors had to be run past and confirmed by them, and they had right of veto over any person (even though it was independent)

.... and the independent report had to be run past russia first....... so they had first response to the report (as opposed to all countries getting the report at the same time).....

....and russia had veto power over whether the final report was made public... (so if they didn't like the findings, it would never see the public domain)

again... and it needs to be point out since you seem not to do it that the russians have vetoed replacing the system with the SAME system that was in place 5 times since the mandate ran out.....

russia need to make up their minds about whether they trust the OPCW or not, because they want them in to conduct the investigation in syria, but are rubbishing the same OPCW organisation report into what happened at salisbury... and have said they will publish their own report....

remember the russians failed to get their own people on the OPCW monitoring team that looked into the salisbury incident (there were not british monitors amongst the team either)

you either have faith in the OPCW of you don't.... which is it?

russia are talking out of both sides of their mouths at the same time, and some people here are falling for it hook line and sinker!

i know these facts will tell an "inconvient truth" for you... but if you are going to talk about a story and least give people the whole detail......

If it would have gone to Parliament, Assad would have been given notice to move stocks. To protect them, with either his military Russian or civilians. He's moved aircraft to Russian bases before when talks lasted too long, so as shocking as this is, decisions are hard for a reason and leaders are there to make them.

Guess weapons get rusty if they sit unused..and how about all those new stuff we want to test out..

Biggest radicalisation group- governments. Come, give up your lives and talents and aspirations and families and “choose” to hold a deadly weapon and kill to “protect” your country ON SOMEONE ELSE’s Land..

Glad I survived the Lebanese war and our flat being shelled while in it to come on a swinger site and rant. War pfffts. Call it what it is, business.

Last month's chemical attack in UK is the excuse for UK to go on war now. It makes me feel it is all orchestrated work by USA, so everyone that includes public(us) to support our gov to attack Syria...

Let's hope Putin didn't here about this attack...

Would you rather see Russian veto's in the UN go on for weeks more. OR discussions and votes in Parliament go on for days and possibly get voted out resulting in no action?

It has just been on the BBC that there have been over 50 chemical attacks in the last 5yrs by Assad on his people.

Who wants Sarin and Chlorine in their back yard?

After 7 years of fighting and by the sounds of it the Syrian army had pushed out isis/rebels or whoever and started taking back their country, Now lets use chemical weapons to finish them off, Not on the people fighting us but on local people, Sounds pure bullshit to me

Ah brilliant, so you think we(the UK) should just step aside and let thousands of innocent people suffer at the hands of an egotistical regime?

You watch to much main stream (propaganda) news.

Try use some critical thinking and common sense and engage your brain.

Asssad has almost won the war, on the cusp of victory and news of anericans removing all their troops...your telling me that assad then otderd2a chemical attack on children???

Yeah what ever there is np way he would knowing what would happen.

This was a fake attack or if it was a chem attackit was organised by isreal or the west or jihad rebels.

"

Brilliant. You should be in charge of the country. Sounds like your uninformed opinions must be correct. All 85 chemical attacks are fake... makes perfect sense. I'm presuming the targets are all made up too. Main stream news is fake... listen to this guy on fab... he knows the answer... he's thought about it.

I find it hard to believe that people actually fall for this conspiracy theory bullshit in this day and age. Have they never thought that conspiracy theories are conspiracies in themselves?

I know someone like this, he’s actually an intelligent guy, but for some reason logical thought processes pass him by. Makes the world a more interesting place I guess

Conspiracy theory - are just theories.

Political dramas and spy thrillers are just that - entertainment.

In the same way soaps not accurately display everyday life - life within the powers of government and the civil service are not as exciting and treacherous as their displayed in books or on screen.

This paranoia that everything the governments do, has underlining tones and the fact that their actions are done on a whim is itself dangerous and damaging to the country!

They ain’t just picked a fight because someone’s girlfriends brothers mate has told next door that think the guy across the road might of done something?

Nor do they start fights because someone looked at them the wrong way across a bar!!

It’s quite a sad state and a scary reflection on this country when we believe Foreign propaganda, rather than the abilities of own governments and joint intelligence communities.

couple, us we him her.

Well I am not in the know.

And I certainly wouldn't class myself as any sort of military or political expert.

I don't trust newspapers, with political agendas or news broadcasts the same.

All I can trust is what I have seen and hear.

But the way I see it this whole situation smacks of a message being sent to Russia and vice versa.

They have been testing the waters so to speak for some time, planes in UK airspace, and ships in water's.

The " nerve agent attack" says they are not in the least bit worried or concerned about our puny little country.

Despite all of this I think the world that we live in is about a global economy and fact is Russia relies far more on exports than the USA so ultimately would stand to lose more.

At the moment it seems to be more of a pissing contest than anything else.

But let's hope it stays that way...

It's ironic that Syria supposedly attacks Syria so the US, UK and France thinks it ok to go and bomb Syria as a message to Syria to stop then from carrying out further attacks on Syria. DT has been itching to get the big boys toys out against someone.

Get your boots on then and get yourself on the ground.

Have you seen the numbers who died in that part of the world since the shenanigans began with Iraq back in 1991?

Does it occur to you that President Assad isn't hanging on because he and some half-dozen friends are beating the crap out of all the rest of the Syrian people? He must have quite a few supporters who are out there also getting shot at on his side.

How many years ago now was it we were being told it would all be over in 6 months and "our" rebels would win?

BTW since Iraq 1991 western forces have fired some 2,193 cruise missiles into various countries in that area at a cost, just for the missiles, never mind the operational cost of the ships/subs/aircraft to launch them, of some £1.7 BILLION pounds! That is BILLION, not million!

Well said my eyeball. Nothing worse than those who try to play the nationalist, my country right or wrong, card.

I take it you weren't paying attention to the WMD dossier on Iraq for starters then?

I take it you weren't paying attention when GCHQ lied about how much surveillance they weren't doing on U.K. citizens?

I take it you missed all the information let out of the bag by Edward Snowden and by wikileaks then?

None of which painted a picture of how trustworthy many of these people acting in our best interests actually were.

When you get politicians ramping up the rhetoric and its implied to be unpatriotic to question what is going on then you are in very dangerous waters.

This morning I caught the sound of one of them congratulating our heroic forces on carrying out their mission.

Let's get real shall we? Firing stand-off cruise missiles from well out of enemy airspace isn't exactly a dangerous occupation that merits "heroic" being thrown at it. Given the range of Storm Shadow (our cruise missiles) the Tornadoes could have launched them shortly after clearing Cyprus airspace!

Heroic are the poor buggers on the ground, often outnumbered, often knowing they aren't going to be there permanently anyway, having to try to fight their way in and out of enemy territory because political decisions on faulty intelligence got them into the mess in the first place.

This distrust of these kind of power people goes back a long way. Read Kipling's poem "Mesopotamia".

Mesopotamia

1917

THEY shall not return to us, the resolute, the young,

The eager and whole-hearted whom we gave:

But the men who left them thriftily to die in their own dung,

Shall they come with years and honour to the grave?

They shall not return to us; the strong men coldly slain

In sight of help denied from day to day:

But the men who edged their agonies and chid them in their pain,

Are they too strong and wise to put away?

Our dead shall not return to us while Day and Night divide–

Never while the bars of sunset hold.

But the idle-minded overlings who quibbled while they died,

Shall they thrust for high employments as of old?

Shall we only threaten and be angry for an hour:

When the storm is ended shall we find

How softly but how swiftly they have sidled back to power

By the favour and contrivance of their kind?

Even while they soothe us, while they promise large amends,

Even while they make a show of fear,

Do they call upon their debtors, and take counsel with their friends,

To confirm and re-establish each career?

Their lives cannot repay us–their death could not undo–

The shame that they have laid upon our race.

But the slothfulness that wasted and the arrogance that slew,

Shell we leave it unabated in its place?

Someone needs to be the worlds policeman, yes it costs us in many ways but the bigger tragedy would be to ignore. We all hate pot holes but to just have an ‘im alright jack’ attitude is selfish.

Yes politicians are corrupt and make money but that’s hardly a reason not to do the right thing. No one wants a war with Russia but to stand up and do the right thing and sacrifice as this great nation did 80 years ago is one of the things that make Britain great and what makes me proud to be British.

The Russian know this too, no body wins. The Russians don't want armed conflict with NATO. Putin is just better at keep his card close to his chest and is better at intimidating and seeing what he can get away with. He has continued over many years to exploit our collective weakness and conflict adverse inaction. But increasingly other nations are starting to call Putin's bluff.
