A funny thing happened to me in New York......

Quite a while a go i was in New york on business and ended up in Long Island, i pulled in to a motel and went up to the booth and asked the guy "can i have a room please" he said do you want it for a few hours or overnight.......Derrrrrr i thought who would want a room for a few hours !!!!!! the penny dropped after a long pause from me.

Have you ever been in the same predicament when something was so obvious but just didn't register
