I’m taking October off work, because why not?

Think I’m going to travel around the UK and Ireland on a motorbike I am yet to purchase.

Any recommendations on where to go?

I like site seeing, food, museums.

Camping and seeing the stars for a night is on the cards but where would people recommend

London, it's got to London for museums. Then head south for gorgeous and punky Brighton before heading along the coast to historic Portsmouth.

The New Forest and the Jurassic Coast woud be next and then the Mumbles would definitely be on my list. After that up through Wales and onto Hawkstone Follies near Shrewsbury, which is a hidden gem.

Tons of places on that route.

I was there for work this February, spent a weekend in Galway and another at the causeway, cold, but dramatic and wonderful.

Visit the forests in Southern Scotland and marvel at their dark sky status - the view of the night sky is amazing - when it's not raining

The Land that time forgot (Norfolk)

I don't think I would want to go camping anywhere in this country in October, sounds like hell! In August sounds much more appealing .
