How do you do it?

I made a fuss at work about going to an expo related to my field of work but now I'm here and I don't want to talk to anybody haha

I've sat in on some panel discussions so it's been useful bit haven't spoken to any stands as I feel they are all selling stuff and I have no purchasing control, it's all done centrally where I work.

Slough Windsor ish

I used to love trade events and Expos when i worked in recruitment. Great excuse for a day out of the office chatting and making the most of the complimentry goodies

I used to work for a massive global company and took part in expos around Europe as a technical rep.

If I’m being honest some of my best conversations and experiences at expos were with people who just had an interest in the product or field and had no buying control or power.

As they were a lot more open and casual with ideas, thoughts and what they thought.

If you see something you like go and say hello I guess just like fab :p

But maybe say you have no say in purchasing but are still interested and curious. It takes the pressure off both sides to sell and makes it just a nice conversation hopefully
