Are you brave?

Are you brave in physical danger? Are you brave when riled or protecting loved ones?

Are you brave with your feelings? Do you admit to them?

Do you push yourself enough?

I was just thinking about this the other day - a work friend called me "brave" when we were having a convo about our life choices and that I hadn't chosen the same path as everyone else.

I'm not sure how I feel about it.

I'd say I was more impulsive than brave.

I'm not the type to jump in front of a loaded gun for someone else either - but I guess that stems from not having children and just not loving anyone enough to do it.

I'm rambling ...

I like to think I am . I try to do things that frighten me a little and get the pulses racing .

As for emotionally I am brave I wear my heart on my sleve

Physically, I don't know if I'm brave or stupid. But I have a general disregard for my physical wellbeing.

With my feelings, I've not been brave with them for a long time, I tend to keep them hidden but I've been working on improving that side of myself.

I'm brave in physical danger and when protecting a loved one. I will also do something if I've agreed to no @matter how scared I am.

I will admit my feelings to myself but often not to other people.

I don't push myself enough but have recently decided to push myself more and harder. However I've yet to admit that to anyone but myself

Yes I’m brave protecting my loved ones, but not brave enough to go on a rollercoaster. As for my feelings, no I’m a bit of a scaredy-cat though I try not to be.

And yes at times I can push myself to do scary things but also can choose the safe option x

Im no all action hero, but im deffo not a shit house either! Age brings an element of thought to situations, instead of makin off the cuff decisions when i was younger (i miss them days of not givin one single fuck!)

Emotionally I am brave as I have faced fears head on, I have made some extremely difficult decisions in life which I knew was going to cause so many problems.

I am brave enough to live life for me and not just follow the crowd and I'm not afraid to speak my mind.

I've walked into a swinging club all by myself.....believe me that took a lot of courage...jeez....so scary!

All off this has come easier with age, when I was a youngster I was more timid and nervous, but people and life's experiences make you brave.

Physically though I'm not ultra breve, I get scared going up step ladders!

I'm not brave in the slightest. If I have to confront people I would do it in text or email rather than face to face. The only time I'm brave is when it comes to protecting my son

Moreso with age, especially since joining the military. "Life begins at the edge of your comfort zone" apparently!

Define brave...

I have a terminal illness that I make jokes about and I'm not actually scared of dying from it. But, here's the question: Is that being brave or being accepting of a situation you can do nothing about?

I dont think im greatly brave in some situations, but i do try to protect those i care for.

As for feelings they grnerally get kept locked up, ive been hurt badly a few times over recent years to admit them, well at least to the people that should know them.

Im willing to put myself into situations that scare me if its something i want, otherwise im not so couragous. Although i have faced my fear of heights a few times, terrifying but thrilling at the same time

Firstly...So sorry to hear that you have a terminal illness, that's awful.

Secondly....I think it sounds like you're being extremely brave. Yes it sounds like you've accepted it but a lot of people wouldn't accept it and live the rest of their life in a constant state of fear.

In the face of life and death I am brave.

In the face of emotional situations I am weak and pathetic with a vocabulary of nothingness.

Physically I'm brave, I would put myself in harms way for others, emotionally I'm coward who doesn't face up to myself and can bizarrely hurt the ones i would through myself under a bus for.
