Motivation

I’ve been struggling to sleep at the moment. Tried everything I can think of, but I’m so stressed out that as soon as my head hits the pillow, I’m wide awake.

Got a doctors appointment next week to get sleeping tablets (I was on some round about this time last year too).

But anyway...I have boxing tonight. For an hour. It’s mostly fitness on a Monday and I’m struggling to find the motivation to go...the teacher will kick my arse if I don’t (it’s my father who teaches). I haven’t missed a class yet even though I’ve got back problems, haven’t been sleeping, and haven’t been well. My husband is really unwell and is still keen to go!

Someone send me some motivation!! Please!!!

Both Cherry juice and Magesium are good things to take. If you find you’re wide wake when your head hits the pillow, stick some headphones on and download a relaxation app. I have one on my iPhone called Relax Meditation. Some of the high frequency sounds really do help

Tried that! However I do have cherry juice in the fridge, I’ll try that too x

My current view is a blank tv screen (It was turned on - I can’t be bothered leaning over to turn it back on), my duvet cover, and a bag of malteasers

I just want to stay here, and live a happy life...

I have chronic fatigue syndrome so i feel your pain.. if i get 4 hours uninterrupted sleep its a good night..

I have that. I honestly have no motivation to do anything. Work is a chore, I can barely drag myself out of bed anymore. Just getting worse

I got two hours last night. Well, the last time I checked, it was 4am. And my first alarm goes off at 6am my husband can nap throughout the day for three or four hours and get a solid 12 hours sleep at night. Insanely jealous x

I've got none today whatsoever.

I'm in a grumpy/tired/hormonal state today and I just can't shake it off.

I think I need chocolate, a really good spanking and a cuddle.

UPDATE: I did it. I gave it 100%. I’m yet to pass out. Hopefully I’ll sleep tonight.

Do you have a proper bedtime routine? No phones before, maybe a bath? I struggle too sometimes - hoping you get some sleep tonight!

Used to be no phones, and I do try, but at the moment I’m lying wide awake for hours on end so I do use my phone sometimes. We have such a strict ruintine because one of my dogs has severe separation anxiety so routine helps him (it’s honestly like having a baby!). Listen to a Harry Potter audio book too. Tv off, it just plays through my phone. I’ve always been awful at sleeping, ever since I was about fourteen

And thank you! I’m in agony and exhausted from boxing, so I hope so x

I’m the same, I try to stay off my phone, but I always end up logging on.
