So, as it’s nearly Summertime... I’m looking for some recommendations...

I do a lot of videos for Social Media... and try to go to really cool places to film...

I have a few different types of Cameras, but prefer either really amazing driving roads, or somewhere I could fly my drone and get some awesome footage

So... What’s the most Picturesque place you can think of in The North West of England...?

All recommendations appreciated

The Town by The Cross

As you are in Cheshire....... it would be easy to head into North Wales and drive along the 494 you'll be in ecstasy ...

For the north west of England places of beauty are far too many to mention.

Stoke area

Mow Cop Castle and The Roaches rock formation are both lovely and near me.

Whilst filming , if you could pop over with your drone, I could do with some aerial shots of my house, as it's back on the market after my sale fell through

Forgot Bowland Forest...and Salmsbury and the mountain road from Clitheroe to Lancaster and the road over Fleet Moss from Hawes to Kettlewell and Arkengarthdale and Wharfedale from the head of the river to Bolton Abbey...or Ribblehead Viaduct on the Settle Carlisle rail line...

But anything with hills fells and fields will always beat the flatlands...

You live in Cheshire and don't know the beauty spots around you.

There are loads such as Wales, lakes, around congleton, Nantwich, parbold, ashurst beacon.

"You live in Cheshire and don't know the beauty spots around you.

Correct... I know a good few places in Cheshire and The North West and have filmed a good few, Such as Nantwich, Macclesfield, Buxton, Matlock, Bakewell, etc...

I have some more on my list... but am looking to add to that lits too... which was obviously the loint of this post...

My videos have had thousands of views... so I am always looking for new inspiration...

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with asking people for their input... I’d hate to be one of those people who thinks they know everything...

No matter how much you know, there’s always more to learn

I might well know most of the beauty spots in Cheshire... But I am specifically looking to see if there are places I HAVEN’T heard of... which was the whole point of the post...

I thought that was obvious...?

Lots of people have made some great suggestions, so I am glad I made the post

Thanks for all the positive input,

Your info is always invaluable

I’m going to go for Kirkby Lonsdale, most specifically Ruskin’s View.

This is the spot from which JW Turner painted..

Ruskin visited later on his tour of the country and said ‘the loveliest view in England, and therefore, the world.’

somewhere in the Shire of Derby

The Lake District and West Coast. The imagery that gets posted in various groups on FB is fantastic.

Lakes are obvious thoughts. But the Peak District and the moors can be quite gorgeous.

I'm sure there are heaps of beautiful places in the North West . But for me it's North Wales.

From the stunning views from Dinas Bran in Llangollen and rolling hills of the Clwydian range from Moel Famau.

The beaches of Anglesey and Conwy.

Then the majestic mountains of Snowdonia my own personal playground

I'll say them again, Snowdonia and Anglesey.

Also the Lake District.

The Pennines? Though idk if they class as North west, or West, South and North Yorkshire.

The Wirral is beautiful too. West Kirby is always scenic if the tide is way out and you can walk out to the two islands

Devils bridge is nice, if you like lots of bikes.

I'm sure there will be a kind biker who will take you on a ride of a lifetime while you film. But prepared to look like this
