Don’t know if any of you have similar experiences but we keep getting woken around 04.00 but can’t tell what it is that wakes us.

This morning Mr M was woken hearing what he thought was someone outside with music playing in their car.

Looked out, no car to be seen so headed downstairs only to find the TV had turned on in the lounge

Spooky?

No.

Don't leave it on stand by.

I'd think it was spooky if it plugged itself in.

I get woken up by my boiler even when it's off. The water circulates.

Im in a 1930s house... now we move d in 4 year ago and gutted it and have had slowly room by room, were currently having a 10m x 13m kitchen diner extension... weve had to stop play because of issues, throughout owning the house weve had issues when doing diy, weve both woke on seperate occasions to being held downin bed, ive had doors slammed in my face, ive been pushed at the top of the stairs... its only when doing renovations or work on the house, weve had 2 builders quit the job over it.

We can totally believe it, our last house a 17th century cottage had a child (we called her Flossie) who loved bouncing on beds, hiding glasses, toys and shoes, nothing scary till the night a bright light shot through our then bedroom severing the light fitting and sending it crashing to the floor... That was not funny and no, it couldn't have been lightning or an internal fault xx one night Jay cursed one of our children for coming up to the kitchen, not realising that none of ours have long black hair and at the time were not tall enough for us to see through the balustrades.... When he did, he suddenly changed his mind on Flossie lol xx Mrs Y

We had the candles on afew month back and a shadow went past i said 'oh f#ck off (his name)' and not had a issue for afew months. I was going to get a white noise box but decided not to mess with it.

Now that's weird

We just added to the thread about where I used to live.

I made a typo so reposted and deleted previous.

It's nowhere to be seen??

cambridgeshire

Used to sleep over at a relative's old house.

The room had an ensuite bathroom which made the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end, and one night I was awoken by a huge blob like grey shape at the end of the bed. Being a tough guy I shot under the duvet, then realised if someone was there I was better seeing them, popped my head back up and nothing there...

No-one will ever persuade me I didn't see 'something' that night.
