Dont you find it odd when someone starts a thread and then never checks back to reply to the comments?

i want to see what others have posted,thank them or disagree.See where the thread ends up.

So do you follow your threads or do you let them roam free?

And why do some people abandon theirs?

I check mine n post if i feel like it..then let it go..mine are mostly fluff threads so plenty more where they came from, i suppose if you are asking a serious question its a different ball game

the few we have started we look back at all the comments, we find the people on here have a GSH and are great at turning things around

I find it odd too especially those forum threads where people are asking for advice then either never reply, ignore the advice or delete their profile when other posters have taken the time to give some constructive advice and feedback.

I sometimes Read down threads come across an answer ive written and cant remember writing it

If i put a thread up unless it stays up fa a while i forget about it within hours pmsl

Sadly i also do it wi mail too

If the person stops replying i forget xx

This was the sort of thread that i meant...it just seems odd to go to the trouble of posting...but maybe like soapy the memory issues are setting in with old age

I have no maternal instincts when it comes to my threads.

Somewtimes I remain interested, sometimes I don't.... sometimes I just want to see what people say in them.

I sometimes think it's a bit odd when people keep bumping their own threads for no apparent reason.

In the main if it drops off the first page, to me it is dead... unless of course someone has asked a direct question... but that's if I go and look for it. I don't always do that... fuck it... I don't know.

Once Ive lost interest I dont go back. I dont start that many threads, im not emotional about the ones I start. I dont really mind how many replies there are to them either.

Im the same with threads I post on. If im interested ill go back and look. If Im not and ive already contributed then I wont. And some I forget Ive posted on.

Once they drop off the front page I dont bother

Not bothered about that,but a forum button on peoples profiles would be fab.

Maybe i log in too nuch to need the email alerts

Think I'm going to suggest this in the feedback forum. The email notification could be an option to turn on and off, whatever your preference.

I have got such a big gob would end up with loads of emails would def not use that facility , I do use the what threads have you posted on facility tho and I think that is great.
