Would you meet someone with health problems?

I sometimes, especially in cold weather, get a flare up of arthritis. This can, on occasion, make walking difficult. Plus certain positions for sex, are not possible at times.

Sex helps, as the endorphins will ease the pain for a while.

Would this kind of thing put you off, you’d only meet someone who’s 100% fit or is it of no issue as long as you’re aware?

Yes I would, and have. One of my buddies has bowel disease and I'm very worried about him as he's very unwell at the moment-I haven't been able to see him for ages.

I have arthritis myself, which is restricting at times and I have regular sex. I explain what I can't do or what might cause me pain, and it hasn't been a problem.

Some men will get a pillow or cushion for my knees too

No it wouldn't bother us and we would appreciate them being honest with us.

While I appreciate that the OP is asking if people would _knowingly_ do it, I would suggest that everybody will have at some point, whether they knew it or not.

.

Especially if you include the invisible health issues.

I would have no issues, as along I was aware of the limitations

Reading this in conjunction with another thread running at the moment. There are very few perfect, sexual athletes on here no matter what they might say. I think most people are happy to go with the flow and if hanging by a rope from a cliff top while wildly shagging isn't possible, well, there's always missionary position

I think it depends if there’s a choice to be absolutely honest .

If a potential meet said they had health problems which may have a negative impact on the fun , then another who didn’t have any problems would get the nod ahead of the one with health issues .

But as another poster said , I think most of us who meet regularly will have met people with health issues without knowing .

It wouldn't bother me at all as long as the person is honest with me. Many moons ago myself and a friend joined a dating site. It was one of the very first sites. I had spent weeks chatting to guy. We eventually decided to meet. I showed up at the pub of his choosing to find he had lost his two legs and an arm. It really put me off. I thought I was a terrible person for ages then I realised it was the fact that he hadn't told me that had out me off. Honesty is a big thing for me

somewhere in the Shire of Derby

I've always been open about my disability and health issues and not had a problem with getting meets. The ones who probably shy away from meeting someone with health issues probably do so more through a lack of knowledge than anything else

So long as they are upfront and honest about it then it's not an issue one bit.

Generally absolutely fine with meeting real people, who are subject to life's ills etc. If there's nothing that's contagious, then there's not a worry that something can be passed on. I'd not meet if I had a cold etc and prefer others to do the same. If my body is suffering the effects of something that's left it the worse for wear, then I'll usually explain that.

I would be worried about a very large man with a heart problem. In case he had a heart attack while he was on top of me, and I couldn't get him off me.

I have suffered from hip and back pain for a number of years now and flares up in cold weather or if I over do things I have been told it could be arthritis, but only this year I have found it really bad as the pain has gone into knee also, I find walking difficult to, some positions I find uncomfortable, so it put me off at times but it wouldn't put me off if others have problems or we could come to a comfortable position where both were happy with x

I have the same problems,I as you say the endorphin rush helps but I tend not to mention it until I meet them and never seems a problem,I do avoid people wanting to play rough. If pain is really bad I do not meet

I am suffering from severe sciatica at the moment which for me, means I won't play with anyone but my fwb, luckily I see him most days and he is quite happy despite our limitations, I can literally only lay on my back for missionary which can also be quite painful if my positioning is off. I would not be happy meeting someone else as I am right now even if it didn't bother them

It would depend on what the 'issue' was. Some things would put me off wanting to meet them. I'd feel uncomfortable and they'd realise and feel bad, and I wouldn't want them to feel bad because of me.
