There’s nothing like some good old family entertainment on the telly box, dunno why but with the amount of channels we have these days, even Netflix and amazon prime, i still find myself going to the True Entertainment channel, kicking off my orthopaedics and sittin on the old sofa for some nolstagic viewing.

I'm named after one of the Waltons. Never seen the show myself but my mother watched it as a child.

I often watch the Walton's and little house in the prairie on that channel, good wholesome clean family watching. Shame there's nothing like it being made any more. Although Lark rise to candleford was along the same lines.

I get sick of the depressing crap shown on the soaps these days.

Gritty, realism is the order of the day.

You never hear anyone called Zebulon nowadays...

i don’t watch any soaps, some people are addicted to them, but on the odd time when eastenders is on, it’s depressing.
