This is a question - Why don't people put face pics on their profile???

We have face pics on our profile, and our reason for this is twofold:-

1) We like people to see what we look like.

2) Anybody we know who may recognise us from the site is obviously looking for the same excitment that we are.

We are all swingers, don't be shy.

As you say if people are looking on this site they are looking for the same reason as us.....but,we would rather keep it this way as we have grown up children and other family who don't know what we do.

We just show face on cam instead if we think we may meet someone.

Do you honestly think that everybody that browses this site is a genuine swinger? I think that's possibly a bit niave.

Ours are there because we arent ashamed of being here, we have no kids, I don't talk to my family, MissD's only in contact with 2 of hers, neither of whom would have an issue, neither of us need to overly worry about our works finding out, and a number of our close friends know we are swingers so there's no real risk for us. If all of the above weren't true then we'd reconsider.

All our kids and their family know what we do, but I wouldnt want our neighbours to know how we spend our spare time, and you are a bit off the mark if you think only swingers can see your faces.

Lets hope you never see your photo plastered on the lamp post around where you live, or on your notice board at your work

It's probably down to a small matter called personal choice.

It's up to the individual what they put on their profile and if they don't want to put face pics on, for whatever reason, then that is their choice.

S&A hit the nail on the head.

Any deviation from the sexual norm is jumped on by a significant minority - enough to makes someone's life a misery at work.

My employers have "bringing the organisation into disrepute" under gross misconduct - which covers anything a boss with a grudge wants it to cover. I can imagine the conversation with my boss going along the lines of "obviously whatever you do in private is your own business but that picture of you, that other guy, his girlfrine and your wife is now in the public domain so I have no alternative but to dismiss you".

Add to that the fact that some people on swingers' sites can't take rejection very well and you've a recipe for disaster!

A personal choice indeed. Obviously if like us you actually meet people you won't turn up in a mask but I don't want to share my face pics with anyone capable of filling out a fab registration form!

For us ..

Its a free site therefore anyone can create an account to see... Kids, neighbours work mates.. anyone having a party for the evening etc lol.. can stick up an account in minutes and browse to there hearts content..

Now were afr from ashamed and if questioned we'd tell the truth.. but hardly gonna hang ourselves out just for the sake of lol...

We don't care who knows or finds out about what we are or what we do.There are more serious things in life to worry about than our sexual pastimes and what others may think of them.As we've said many times before,we'd rather be open with people,that way no one can spring any embarrassing surprises to bite us on the arse when we least expect it.

Never forget the old saying "Be sure your sins wil find you out",they usually do too,wether you have photo's or not.

There are a number of professions where even being on this site would put your career on the rails. Doctors, Teachers, Policemen, Army Officers etc etc... and we have met all of the above and more. One couple we met, he was a senior social worker and she was very high up in the home office.... nowdays the gutter press dont tend to post "shock horror swingers" stories because they found that all it did was get more people swinging, but for a couple like our friends it would be a typical "News of the World" expose.... you know the sort of thing... isn't it disgusting blah blah blah then on the next page some young girl with her tits out....

Hi to everybody who took the time to post replies to our question.

Wow, what a mixed opinion. Seems that the biggest response is to do with employers finding out about personal life choices - isn't it a real shame that in this day and age, sexual orientation can have such an effect on our day to day lives. Should it really make such a difference that a doctor for example can perform surgery during the day and save somebodys life, but would be frowned upon that he likes to enjoy sex with people other than his wife in the evenings. I wouldn't say it is just employers. This is an excert of what was posted in response to another thread.

On the other hand there are those who feel guilty or ashamed about what they do.Also the "single" guys who aren't. Then you have the bi guys who wouldn't really be bothered if they were known to be on a swinging site but would hate their family and friends or even their wives to find out they were bi.

In our case I dont think it is our boss we would have to worry about, we think he would probably laugh it off.

... but we live it what is still reguarded as a same Highland cathlic community, and in this part of the world certain things are taken very seriously indeed.

I don't think that saying "personal choice" is dismissing the question at all.

At the end of the day the profile belongs to the site member and ultimately it is their pesonal choice what they put on their profile, be a it a face pic or whatever .....

I very politely told a guy on here i wasnt interested.... he then said he was copying and pasting all my pics and pinning them all over town....

so as from then my face pics will remain private . i can do without tossers like that. I did report him and he got banned, but he will probably be on here in another name

ive put a selection of pics on my profile with full face,semi naked,fully naked front and back but my my c**k pics are in private gallery of both hard and soft

if people want to see them they can just ask and if i like the look of them its all good

In our opinion those who post facial pictures for all to see fall into 3 main categories.

1. Some folk on here are happy that all and sundry are fully aware that they are swingers. Family, friends and neighbours either already know or they simply couldn’t give a damn if they do find out.

2. Some folk labour under the rather naive notion that the only folk who peruse sites like this are likeminded adults so showing their faces is ok as it cannot possibly do any harm.

3. Some folk have thought through the complete and inevitable consequence of this part of their lives becoming public knowledge and have decided that they want to keep it secret. For them they worry about the effect it may have on relationships with family and friends, and of course they worry about the consequences it may have for their kids. If you add to that the social and workplace stigma that may well occur once folk know then for some that is a risk to far, hence no facial pics.

For those that fall into the top category you have our utmost respect and envy to be in that position.

If you are, as the OP is, in category 2 then we suggest you log off from here and then go take a look at how easy it is to create a fictional account in here. Now picture yours and your partners family, social circle and work places, never mind neighbours, acquaintances, kids friends and the list goes on and how many of those people do you think may just be the sort who look at sites like this for whatever reason. Now ask your self what are the odds on inadvertent discovery, for us the chance is there so it’s a no brainer.

Those in category 3 have made that choice of their own volition and should not be questioned, criticised or ridiculed for it.

i would totally agree with this...as i was sacked last week!!

my boss found out through the work "gossips" about my swinging lol , i am currently appealing against the decision and was going to hide my photos but then i thought why should i? , my public pictures on here are not in any way indecent and i am not breaking the law!

but i can fully understand why some people choose to hide theirs.

Bloody hell, so sorry to hear that, but you need legal advice fast, Union or otherwise...was your firing legitimate or could it be considered wrongful termination?

If it is just because of your lifestyle, maybe I guess it depends on what your job is and what company your are with, I can see itmay be an issue

The problem with going to a tribunal regarding being sacked for your sexual preferences is that everything comes out in court. Their defence team will paint a picture of depravity and decadence and it's down to your team to prove otherwise but when you go up against am old stick in the mud judge with a face like a bulldog chewing a wasp he/she will be favouring the defence team before you even get started.

Maybe you should have just shagged your boss instead lol

We used to have face pics in our public gallery but after it was found that you could find fab profs through a google search even though you had ticked the privacy box & the lady from a popular couple who often could be found in chat lost her job when a colleague put up their link on a PC in her office, we decided to only show our mugs to folk who read our profile & asked to have a look.

Guess what ? We seem to be attracting people more on our wave length & are having a wonderful time.

People that we have spoken with in private have expressed a concern towards those that display face pictures.

The concern being - it demonstrates a lack of discretion ?

We disagreed with this view, and hope never to be proved wrong !!

Well it seems to us that your saying that just because some of us have the bottle to put face pics on our profiles,we'll be indescreet about anyone we meet who doesn't.Thats a load of rubbish,we're unashamed of anything we do and will face off against anyone who tries to give us flack because of it.However that doesn't mean we're going to blow the "cover" of anyone who doesn't do the same.Besides which,it doesn't seem to stop you from meeting ppl who have face pics on profile.

It's down to the individual regarding whether they put face pics up or not. Ok, some people will judge them for it but it's a decision they make knowing that some people will judge them - if they are mentally strong enough to weather any such storm then those are the ones who show face pics I guess.

We don't show them as Siren doesn't want her face being seen on a swinging site. That's her call but I must hide mine too as I'm am linked to her as her partner; if find me you find her.

It would however be interesting to see how many folks that wish to be discreet have face pics though.

PLEASE, I am not having a dig at anyone with face pics. As wishNsiren said it is down to individual choice.

We used to on another site but a member casually stole those and placed them on his profile (they on this site too now as a couple)...

On this site we don't show at all... never caused us any issues we know of.

We also dont show our faces in pictures only on cam to cam mainly because of most of the reasons people have written about, we live in a small clicky town, work, family, kids neighbours etc lol

Also we had our pics stolen and used to set up a profile on another site, a friend saw them and told us, it was a long and drawn out process trying to prove they were our pics to get the profile taken off but in the end it was, then it happened again on another site, we contacted the admin and were basically told it was our tough luck and they wernt going to do anything about it, luckily they were body shots as the profile is still up and we cant do anything about it!! Imagine if they were pics with our faces in them? I would still be crying now lol .

Seriously, though, or faces are on our private pics for friends to see. They are not on our public pics because we wouldn't be happy for photo collectors or pervs to see and perhaps copy them.

However if you check the profiles on your Varifications you'll find face pics on the public gallery.So does that make you indiscrete by association? We have face pics on because we're not embarrassed or ashamed of the lifestyle we've chosen.We're also old enough and big enough to stand up against any narrow minded biggots who don't agree with it. However that does not in any way make us insensitive to the wishes of the ppl we meet and no way would we jeopardise their discretion.

But it such a gorgeous bod hon! It's sort of a compliment in a way that someone is using your bod to attract playmates. I just feel sorry for the people who turn up expecting you and get Helga the Shotputter instead.

Stupid thing is, I know what you do and in NO way would a swinging lifestyle have ANY impact on your ability to do your job and lets be honest, it wouldn't affect your clients or your employment company one iota.....

To answer your question. Yes it would do if I were to ever meet them personally. Verifying another on cam in my books isnt considered as a meeting. Perhaps if they were to show my verification on their profile then you would know exactly what I infer. I very much doubt the lady that verified me and the lady in the pic are one and the same as the prior was absolutely gorgeous.

However I am glad that you guys are old enough and big enough to stand up against the narrow minded biggots who dont agree and it is a real shame in this day and age that there is a need for it. However, some of US are not old enough and/or big enough to do the same. Many of us still have aspirations to reach the pinnacle of our chosen profession's and havnt the strength, energy or willpower to want to explain to others about this lifestyle. Some of those that you refer to as narrow minded biggots are members of our families, their friends, their associates,our work colleagues, etc.

It is a shame that we dont live in a world whereby we will not be judged by our others, but we do.

Hey and hopefully, one day we all be able to display ourselves proudly for all to see.
