You've not asked specifically for profile advice OP but it's often the first thing people look at before even reading a message, so generically speaking one of the best ways to start is with a well worded and decent profile, ideally backed up by a decent set of pics that show off your body and not your cock.

Your profile is your shop window - dress it well and people might come into your shop for more than a browse, dress it poorly and they'll pass by and move onto the next shop.

Once you've got that sorted, then think about attending organised socials or clubs, or getting involved in the forums, which are all great ways of getting to know people and getting yourself known. Obviously some of that may be difficult given your situation, but surely there are times when you can get a sitter?

When it comes to messages, always be polite and respectful, and tailor the message to the recipient, tell them a little about you, and why you think you're a good match, invite them to rake a look at your profile etc and try and be interesting.

Of course none of that guarantees a thing, but be yourself and be positive and Fab can be a great place to be part of

Follow the threads on advice as others say. Most people won't meet immediately but will take time to get to know each other and plan for time when both are free - have a coffee etc.
