Turnips

Anyone knows how to cook turnips properly and healthy?. Someone on youtube seems to add half a kilo of salt to the pan.

Right now the meet that I wish I had the most is someone teaching me how to do this. Male, female or TS, it doesn't matter because it'd be only about cooking.

I bought one the 14th of March and another one last week but I never cooked them because I wasn't sure how.

I just sliced them and put them in the microwave with water 4.5 minutes. One was wrinkled and inside didn't look very solid, the newer one was whiter. I sprinkled some olive oil, salt and pepper and I'm having them now.

If I'm ill tomorrow I'll know why.

I just finished them, I'm not entirely sure I didn't have them half raw.

I'd like to eat them once a week . I never head of them when I studied nutrition at uni and I don't have any solid evidence of their special benefits but according to some they seem to increase testosterone and that's why I want to eat them.

Swedes are yellow/purple. The others are purple/green and white.

Are they about the size of a golf ball?

Central

Wash thoroughly, dice them and boil - salt not needed. Can mash, eat with other veg, or as they are. Gorgeous winter veg.
