No. It may seem so. I have just learned to allow others to have their own way as long as it doesn't interfere with what im doing. I still do what I intend but don't tell them WHY i must do it.

I thought it was utter tosh for some time (the bitter viewpoint of a hardened singleton!) but now I've realised that being romantic doesn't have to be the grandiose gestures (as nice as they can be) and the little things showing thought, care and love can be.

I can be. I always said I'd never marry but when I decided I would I arranged the whole thing without her knowing a thing. A gave her an envelope with I think a grand in it and told her she better go get herself a dress. Why she asked and I told her we are getting marred in 2 weeks. When I take a lady out on a date i always finish the night off with a mackie vimto's each, a bags of chips each, pickled egg each, a pickled onion each, a couple of bread and butter each and a pot of curry sauce or gravy to share (their choice), I take them to the local canel were we dangle our feet in the warm waters and the shopping trollies whilst we look out over local tip we sit there together looking at the methane cloud rise against the back drop of a full moon, MAGICAL.

That's how I know that i am the most romantic person I know.

I think the most Important thing if you're in a relationship is never take each other for granted as you don't realise what you've got until you've lost it. Oh definitely yes I love romance both giving and receiving. I adore spoiling him and hopefully he feels like a king and I love being spoiled and treated like a queen.

I have kissed underneath the Eiffel tower, I have kissed in front of the Sphinx, I have kissed on Hadrian‘s wall, I have kissed in the London eye, I have kissed in the Sydney Opera house, I have kissed on a yacht around Tahiti , I have kissed on top of the Empire State Building, I have kissed in the waters of St Martin, I have kissed at the top of the Swiss Alps with cows all around with the bells on, I have kissed eating Belgian chocolates in the grand plaza, I have kissed when eating mangoes together on the barrier reef, i’ve kissed after handling all the rapids down the treacherous river, I have made love on cliff faces, I have made love on beaches at midnight with the surf pounding and the moon shining brightly, on picnic rugs inthe countryside and ocean liners in the middle of the Atlantic .....

I have had the covers on the bed thrown back to show a dozen full old fashioned dark red roses (their petals) and made love crushing the petals and being covered in their scent ..... I have bathed a man from head to toe in waters scented with my own blend of oils made for me in Cairo, I have fed him chocolates whilst he was blindfolded, bought his favourite cheeses or his favourite gins, dressed in negligees and greeted him at the front door leaving red lipstick everywhere ....

I feel like romance is overestimated and sterile now. Whats sold as romance are just generally money making and marketing schemes.

That being said to me romance is differt and personal to each person. To me it would be as simple as someone who knows me well enough to anticipate my feelings and maybe pull my head onto her lap and stroke it while we watch tv. Or plan a cinima trip to a movie i really want to see.

Previous partners have found the fact i like to cook or fix things romantic. Its such a simple personal concept i think.

Yes, we both are.

A few weeks ago I felt really down and Cute was out of the country. He told me to wait for a postman in a few days. I got a delivery of my favourite purple tulips and small bottle of his fragrance to remind me of his smell. I've never received more thoughtful gifts.
