Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I don't get this fashion for contoured makeup.

On films and television it looks like they have dirty patches on their faces. In real life it just looks like ood sharp lines, if you stand in the wrong place.

Same.... and so much makeup.

Goes with the thick black odd shaped eyebrows.

I don't think the film and telly makeup artists do it well either.

We've all lived through makeup trends that we look back on wondering what we were thinking at the time. This one seems to have been going on for a while, along with the above mentioned eyebrows.

Why is it still popular?

Oh I totally agree. I know a few women who do it and they start to look like Michael Jackson. The gaunt cheeks and slim nose.

Also, who has time to contour!?!

The trend that stands out from my youth was electric blue mascara - I bloody loved that stuff

I think HD makes faces look weird; kind of surreal. Some actresses look terribly gaunt.

I only watch nature programmes in HD now. I don't like seeing people in HD.

A man on here told me I should learn how to contour! Fecking cheeky shit! I did inform him I have better things to do with my time and don't want to give false impressions as to what I look like

I wore that, along with peacock blue and fuschia pink eyeshadow. Not forgetting the purple lipstick. God, it was awful.

Oh, and the bushy eyebrows.

I think people that have light brown skin took amazing with it, my friend has that "Latino" look about her and contour on her looks great. Me being a pale blonde I just look like I haven't washed my face properly.

Good. Natural look is he best. I get intimidated and scared by someone with too much make up. Makes me wonder what they’re hiding lol

Ahhh yeah! I knew it reminded me of something.

I find it odd when there's a line on their neck where the make up stops.
