Over the last few days Ive noticed that lots of people seem to come and go and come back and go and rejoin and delete and start again then unlos.....

Why?

How many profiles have you had and over what period of time?

Ive had my single female profile since the site opened, its still here but hidden, Cheffy had his single fellas profile about 2 years when we met, again its still here but hidden. We've had this one since we became a couple 4 years ago.

Ive never felt the need to completely delete... if I got bored I would just hide it a while.

This site is a cheap commodity, it's free, so they feel they don't need to invest anything. They join, with high expectations of easy sex, it doesn't happen, so they leave then within a week they join again thinking it might just be different even though they don't change their ways or their thinking so the whole cycle starts again.....

I've just had a conversation with a guy which just saddened me to be honest

There was a thread the other day about how long have you been on fab..

Ive been here on and off over 6 and a half yrs.. and had 3 profiles..

Had a couples profile with my hubby for a few weeks beforehand, but he doesn’t want to play, so just made sense to make my own

Baffles me too OP. There will be those that come and go when they realise it isn’t Instashag but those I don’t really cross paths with. I’m talking about forumites that are like yo-yos, I’d rather just hide until I was ready to reappear. I know a lot think they won’t return but evidence suggests otherwise. I’ll watch the thread to see the thought processes of others.

We met at the manchester social last July and soon after i went AWOL as the school holidays had started so i hid my profile, and then shit happened as it does and i really thought i didnt want to be here so i left with no fuss ..but i always knew i would come back, it was just a question of when

I think I'd just go into hiding if I felt like taking a break.

Ive had loads of messages the last few days that within minutes of being sent the person has vanished. Makes pressing delete easier I suppose

I don't expect to need my single profile ever again but I wouldn't delete it. Its fine where it is hidden.

In fact in all the dating and chat sites Ive ever used I cannot recall ever deleting my profiles. I must have dozens dotted around t'interweb

Now you put it like that I guess it’s easier to go UNLOS than hide. I recognised you when you returned, I miss your partner in crime

I sometimes hide my profile if I just want to be quiet for a few days, but if I feel the need to take a proper break from the site I delete altogether... mainly because if I have a profile I’m always tempted to log back in

if I didn't delete it, I would come back on to check. I don't leave and rejoin straightaway, I'm normally off for a good few months before I come back, longest I've been gone is about a year.

I've had a lot more names than profiles, but all of my previous names had "Kimi" in them, this is the first one without it.

I often wonder if people leave and rejoin to get around blocks or because they spat their dummy out and deleted during a tantrum.

I mean the people who leave and are back 2 days later,not those who take a long break.

This is the only couple profile we have had,I have had 2 profiles as a single,2nd which I still use .

I had my last profile for 5 years. Got into a relationship and deleted it when things got really really serious. I didn't think I'd ever return even if the relationship ended. But it did and here I am after two years away.

A lot of guys remember me from my old profile so it hasn't been like starting again from scratch.

Had several profiles before finding the forum.

I’ve stuck with this name except for a week of UNLOS in January last year.

Couples profile means I don’t really need this one but I’m not planning on deleting it
